Dan's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife and children. Dan was a wonderful husband, a dedicated father and a loyal friend. He will be greatly missed. He impacted many lives with his open friendship, his willingness to lend a hand whenever and wherever needed.
Dan had a passion for hunting and fishing. He also loved being in the mountains of North Carolina at his Shelton ancestral homestead. He was known for his calm, quiet, compassionate spirit as well as his ability to work on anything and everything. "Dan the Man" was truly an all-around handyman with his main focus on supporting and caring for his family. We will all remember his quiet sense of humor and appreciation of fun in life.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, Dennis, his mother, Mary and grandparents, Russell (Red) Larson, Olin and Allie Shelton. He is survived by his wife, Mandy, his two children, Anthony and Matthew, his sister Rhonda, his maternal grandmother, Alice Larson and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
