Mr. Donath owned and operated Donath's Garden Works in Baytown for 30 years. He was a member of the Texas Nurserymen Association. Bill never met a stranger and was very generous to those who knew him. He was a loving companion, father, grandfather and will be missed by all. Bill showed tremendous strength and courage throughout his battle with cancer. His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery. The family wishes to acknowledge a special thanks to Compassionate Care Hospice for their support and kindness. In lieu of usual remembrances, the family request donations be made to the hospice of your choice, or to M.D. Anderson Cancer Research.
