Julie A. Brandt, 73, of Evansville, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023. She was born on September 23, 1949 in Vincennes, Indiana, to John and Helen (Bishop) Yates.
She formerly taught mathematics at Harrison High School.
Julie was preceded in death by her husband, David Brandt (2023); parents; step-father, Forest Moog; and brother, Jack Yates.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Brandt (Lori) and Steve Brandt; grandchildren, Jack Brandt, Elizabeth Murray (Ryan), Kristi Brandt, and Jennifer Brandt; great-grandchildren, Syra Murray, Skyler Murray, Abigail Brandt, Averi Johns, and Ayva Johns; and sister, Joan Weinbach (Mark).
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 15, 2023 with Fr. Alex Zenthoefer officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
