Kenneth "Jerry" Beane, 68, died Feb. 1, 2008, at his home, Pratt.
He was born Feb. 27, 1939, in El Dorado, the son of Wesley and Sylvia Zook Beane. A resident of Pratt, he worked in the oil field.
He served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include: three daughters, Sue Elliott, Henderson, Tenn., Lenore Johnson, Pottsboro, Texas, and Teresa Shaffer, Garnett; three stepsons, Kevin McGuire, Corey McGuire, and Justin DeRome; two sisters, Kathleen Chancellor, Hutchinson, and Vicki Haubenchild, Denver; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and wife Judy DeRome Beane.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt, with Chaplain Fred Pinkerton presiding. There will be no visitation.
