Son of George Niles Haskell and Sarah Elizabeth "Sally" Runnels

Married Lydia Catherine Hawes, 12 Mar 1853, Provo, Utah, Utah

History - Chester was a farmer all his life. It is unknown when he joined the Church but he was faithful all his life. He brought his family West in 1852 and settled in Provo for awhile where his first child was born. Apparently when President Young asked for help to settle San Bernardino, California, he was one of those called to go because his second child was born there in 1855. He returned home and settled in Salem, Utah County. By 1866 he had moved again, this time to Payson where he remained. He died at the age of 67 after a lifetime of service to the church.
