The daughter of Osgood C. and Eleanor (Kieser) Blaney, Abby was four months, and 13 days old when she died at 279 Eighth St. in South Boston, the cause of death being Cholera Infantum. She was one of 35 children in the city of Boston to die of the bacterial infection that week. Her burial, according to the Boston death record, was at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.

Her sister Alice, who died in 1890, is also buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
