Funeral Monday for Arthur Bever, 63

Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning in St. John's Catholic church at Marshfield for Arthur Bever, 63, who died at his home there early Friday following a lingering illness. The Rev. Augustine Frisch will officiate and burial will be in the Catholic cemetery at Hillside.

Mr. Bever, a brother of Jacob Bever of this city was born at Bear Creek, Outagamie county, on May 28, 1878, the son of Peter and Elizabeth Bever. He married Maggie Nelson at Marshfield on May 13, 1902.

Surviving relatives include the six children, Mrs. L. Fochs of Pittsville, Mrs. Charles Westover of Berlin; Ralph J. of Wittenberg, Gordon F. of West Bend, Mark J. and Mrs. Lorne Topham of Marshfield; five brothers, Peter of Duluth, Arnold and John of Two Rivers, Jacob of Wisconsin Rapids and Tony of Marshfield; four sisters, Mrs. Hirsch of New York, Mrs. Mary Thomas of Rothschild, Mrs. Anna Hirsch and Mrs. Lil Henderson of Wausau, and 13 grandchildren. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

The rosary will be said at 8 o'clock Sunday evening at the Baxter-Ritger funeral home, where the body will lie until time for services.
