Nellie M. Holowitz, 66, of Madison Heights, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 1988, at Bi-County Hospital, Warren. She was born May 11, 1922, in Beattyville, Ky.
Mrs. Holowitz retired in 1978 from William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, where she was a stewardess.
Surviving are her sons, Gary D., Marysville, and Frank, Marquette; daughters Brenda Morang, Romeo, and Grace Sarnowski, Warren; her mother, Grace W. Amburgey, Madison Heights; a brother, James Amburgey, Royal Oak; sisters, Alma Scheidler, Okeechoee, FL, and Emma Gramer, Fenton. 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation, noon-9 p.m., Friday, Kinsey-Garrett Funeral Home, with the Rev. Kedrick Whitcomb, Marysville Baptist Church, officiating; burial, Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak.
