Carolyn Fern Armstrong, 88, passed away Friday, September 8, 2023 with family at her side. She was born on March 6, 1935 in Isabel to Leo and Fern (Rolf) House. Carolyn married Robert James (Jim) Armstrong November 5, 1955. They were married for 49 years.

Carolyn graduated from Isabel School in 1953. She worked for Pratt County Abstract, Register of Deeds, and Strong's Insurance. She was a key component of the family farming operation, a member of Sawyer Christian Church, and formerly a member of EHU. She enjoyed playing cards and Mexican Train, loved cats and collecting cat figurines, reading and being outside in the yard.

She is survived by son, daughter, grandchildren, sister's-in-law, nephew,brother-in-law, 10 great grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, Edgar House.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 14th from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, September 15, 2023 at Isabel Church of Christ, Isabel with John Hamm presiding. Burial will follow at Isabel Cemetery.
