Glenn Berge, 76, 1003 Sunset Drive, died Saturday, Oct. 12, 1996, in Valley Memorial Home-Eldercare Center.


Glenn L. Berge was born Feb. 18, 1920, the son of George and Gina (Forsiede) Berge, in Grand Forks, where he grew up. He graduated from Grand Forks Central in 1937. He married Wilma "Sally" Flowers Aug. 5, 1940, in Grand Forks. He served in the European Theater in World War II. He worked as a liquor salesman for Congress Inc. until retirement.


He is survived by his wife; sons, Roger (Sara), Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jerry (Mary Dawn), Grand Forks; four grandchildren; and a sister, Irene Winjum, Fargo.


He was preceded in death by a brother, Marlin.


Services: 2 p.m. Monday in United Lutheran Church, Grand Forks.


Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. today, with a 4:30 p.m. prayer service, in Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks, and one hour before services in the church.


Burial: Sunnywood Gardens Cemetery, Grand Forks.
