Mrs. Frances Lynam, widow of Edward Lynam, who would have been 83 years old tomorrow, died at her home, 516 Bissell Avenue, Oil City, at 5:30 a.m. today, following a year's illness. She was born at Fryburg, Clarion County, on March 4, 1860, came to Oil City 43 years ago and had since made her home here. On June 22, 1886, she was married to Edward Lynam, at Fryburg, and he preceded her in death on April 3, 1913. Mrs. Lynam was a member of St. Joseph Church, and Rosary Society of the church. Surviving are the following children, Mrs. Clara Montgomery and Miss Bertha Lynam, both at home, and Mrs. John Dolphin and Clarence Lynam, both of Oil City. Five grandchildren, Sgt. Edward McMahon, who is stationed in England, and Thomas, Jack, Mary and Margaret Ann Dolphin, all of Oil City, also survive, together with a brother, Theodore Siegel, of Panama Canal Zone. The body will be removed from the funeral home to the Lynam home this evening.

Death certificate gives age as 82 years, 11 months and 29 days. Daughter of John Siegel & Susanna Faller both born Germany. Daughter, Clara Montgomery, was informant. Buried on March 6, 1943.
