Verna Mae Collier-Bushyager was the daugher of George Dewey Collier, Sr., and Mary Jane Mitchell-Collier of Jeannette, PA. Both of her parents are buried in the Brush Creek Cemetery in Westmoreland County, PA.
Her paternal Grandparents were Lewis Sherden Collier and Laura Belle Reese-Collier of Logan Valley, Antis Township, Centre County, Pennsylvania. And, her maternal Grandparents were Joshua D. Mitchell and Mary Ellen Frohm-Mitchell.
Verna had 7 siblings: Ruth Minnie, Ellen, Baby Boy, George Dewey Jr, Nellie Helen, Fred Lee and Mary Lou.
Verna married William Bushyager and had one daughter, Karen Bushyager, and two Grandchildren, D'Arcy McKinnon and Timothy McKinnon.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen A. McKinnon, Matthews, N.C.; sisters, Ruth Scott, Orange Park, Nellie Lesnick, Charlotte, N.C., and Mary L. Franklin, Hendersonville, N.C.; brother, Fred Collier, Orlando; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bushyager.
