In her younger years, Myrtice would provide Meals on Wheels to members of her surrounding community. For leisure, Myrtice loved spending time at the Pineridge Senior Center with her husband and friends.
She is predeceased by her sons, Alfred and Mike Bennett; a daughter, Mary Jane Deshane; three brothers, Harmon, Jimmy and Laverne Whitaker.
