Bradley Thomas Carr 1957 - 2018 Springfield, IL—Bradley Thomas Carr, 61, of Springfield, passed away on December 17, 2018 at St. John's Hospital. He was born on January 31, 1957 in Champaign, Illinois to James Patrick and Martha Rhodes Carr. Brad is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debby, his daughter Caitlin (Ryan) McMillen of Seaside, CA, grandson Arlo McMillen, sister Belinda (John) Beccue of Monticello, brothers Rick (Dina) Carr of Chatham and Brian (Dema) Carr of Camargo, and his father James Patrick Carr of Villa Grove, IL. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Carr.
Brad retired as a Disability Claims Specialist with the Illinois Department of Disability Determination Services after more than thirty years of service. He loved spending summers in the Gulf of Mexico with his family, and visiting his daughter, son-in-law, and 5-month old grandson, Arlo in California. He was an avid Beatles and New York Yankees fan, and was known as a collector of "all things".
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday December 21, 2018 at Bisch Funeral Home West, 2931 Koke Mill Road. The family will meet friends from 1:00pm until the time of memorial service Friday at Bisch West.
