Bobby was born on April 24, 1973, in West Memphis, Arkansas, the son of Sheldon and Legatha . He graduated from Northview High School with the class of 1991.
Music was Bobby's oxygen. An amazing drummer, Bobby played with numerous bands based out of Bloomington, Indiana, Chicago, Illinois, and Brazil, Indiana. While living in Chicago, Bobby worked at the House of Blues and at The Cubby Bear. Before his illness, he worked at Decks Direct, in Whitestown, Indiana.
Bobby never met a stranger, and he was a loyal, loving friend and family member. He lived with gusto. Once his friend, it was a loving friendship that lasted forever.
Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Sheldon D. Spelbring and other close relatives and friends. He is survived by his mother and his brother and sister-in-law, as well as aunts, uncles, many cousins, and extended family members, which includes friends who are considered family.
Music will be a large part of The Celebration of Life which is planned for Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Services will begin at 7:00 PM at Lawson – Miller Chapel 1702 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834.
Anyone who wishes will be able to share memories and thoughts of Bobby. Dress for comfort. Jeans and Rock-N-Roll tee's are welcome, but if you want to dress more formally, please do so. Bobby lived to the beat of his own drum and his idea of "get up and go!" He would approve!
