Darrell Lynn Bolin, 73, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. He was born on June 4, 1950 to Chester Leroy Bolin and Georgia Lorraine (Cady) Bolin in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. He was a high school graduate. He married the love of his life, Catherine Jane Barrows, in Wagoner, Oklahoma. They shared just shy of 40 years of life, marriage and family together.
Darrell was a foreman at Empire Commercial Roofing in Tulsa. He then started his own business, Bolin Roofing in Muskogee, for which he retired after 37 years.
Darrell enjoyed going camping, fishing and boating. He was always happy to provide smoked meats for holidays and family gatherings. Darrell was an avid OU fan. Throughout the years, He enjoyed going to his son's baseball games. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents Roy Bolin and Geogia Mangrum; step-father, Billie Mangrum; brother-in-law, Mike Kobb; In-laws, James and Annie Barrows; sisters-in law, Mary Reece and Michelene Pesantubbee.
He is survived by his loving wife Catherine Bolin; son, Roy Darrell Bolin; granddaughter, Keagan Lynn Bolin all of the home; stepsons, Jeremy Plunkett and wife Erika of Coweta, OK and their children Kayla , Paige, and Kaiden, Ivan Goad of Muskogee, OK and his children, Daniel John, Ivy Rose Marie, and Kyla Ranee; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Moses, Cheryl Hensley both of Muskogee, OK, and Valerie Orcutt and husband Mike of Inola, OK; sisters, Linda Galloupe and husband Gerald of Texarkana, TX, Phyllis Warren and husband Robert of Muskogee, OK, and Donna Kobb of Memphis, TN; and many other family members and friends.
