Catherine Rose Brasfield Doyle passed away peacefully on July 26, 2020.
Born on November 27, 1930, to Homer and Ruby Brasfield, she was married to her late husband of 72 years, Milfred G. Doyle.
She leaves three sons and one sister, Linda Rogier. Her sons and their wives are, Mike and Arlene Doyle, Gary and Bernadette Doyle, and Sammy and Stacy Doyle.
Grandchildren include Patrick and Audra Doyle, Ryan and Tori Doyle, Steven Doyle, Gordon Denu, and Danny Denu. Great-grandchildren are Darcy Doyle, Reese Doyle, Liberty Denu, Joshua Denu, and Anna Denu. She also leaves a large extended family of nieces and nephews and their families, who always held a special place in her heart.
Catherine was of the Baptist faith and member of First Baptist Church in Paris, TN. She had been retired from Dana Incorporated for many years. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother who took pride in making her home welcoming to all her relatives and friends. There was always room and food for more at her dinner table. She enjoyed a variety of activities including baking, quilting and reading. Her homemade breads, cakes and pies were always highly prized during the annual Helping Hand fundraiser.
She will be remembered for her sweet personality, caring heart and loving hugs. She was always willing to help with a positive attitude and genuinely cared for the well-being of others. She could be counted on to provide encouragement and motivation when needed. She had many friends who spanned across generations of people and would acknowledge being "grateful" for each one.
The Doyle family appreciates the outpouring of thoughtful condolences and well wishes of all our family and friends. A "celebration of life" will be scheduled at a later date.
