Rest in Peace - We Love You

Carole was a graduate of Mission Bay High School, Class of 1958 and lived in Pacific Beach, Clairemont and University City most of her life.

She enjoyed past affiliations with the Clairemont Women's Club, the Soledad Club, volunteer activities, as well as homemaking and bridge.

She is survived by her loving husband David, and daughters Shelley Roxanne and Teri Saveliff, son-in-law John Saveliff, granddaughter Kili Saveliff and Underwood family.

A five year breast cancer survivor, she was then diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the fall of 2001. She and her family wish to thank all of her friends for their encouragement and kindness, the American Cancer Society, and the wonderful staff at Kaiser Permanente.

Carole was very brave and courageous and was known by all as having an outstanding attitude during her bouts with cancer. She will be in our hearts forever.

Carole's memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at North Clairemont United Methodist Church, at 4570 Mt. Herbert Ave. in San Diego, CA 92117. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to the church. Published in The San Diego Union Tribune on Apr. 14, 2006
