She attended New Berlin schools.
Mrs. Shipman was a baker at Sunbury and Shikellamy school districts before retiring as head baker in 1982.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sunbury.
Her life was her family and being with them.
She enjoyed crocheting and going to the Senior Action Center.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, Richard and Milo "Ray"; and three sisters, Phyllis Keister, Lucille Heintzelman and June Betsker.
