Chase Cyrus Baker, age 19, left us far too soon on April 2, 2008. He was born July 5, 1988 to Mike and Linda Baker in Las Cruces, NM.

He was a 2007 graduate of Las Cruces High School were he was an active member of the "Modernaires" show choir. Chase was a proud member of the 78th Security Force Squadron and stationed at Robins AFB, GA. Chase impacted many people. He was a sweet loving person and will be missed so much by those he touched.

He was survived by his parents, Mike and Linda Baker of Las Cruces, Amanda Baker of Las Cruces, brothers Shayne and Robert Baker and sister Megan Shannon. He was also survived by his Great Grandmother Almeda Feltenberger, Great Grandparents Earl Sr. and Jean Watson, Grandparents Cyrus and LaDena Baker and Grandfather Gregory Watson. He was also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

He will be remembered and his life celebrated in services on April 10, 2008 at the Calvary Baptist Church. Sam Swann officiated. Following the service Chase was interred with full military honors at Masonic Cemetery.
