Diedrich Koenemann, s/o Johann Heinrich Christian and Christine Dorothea (Frederking) Koenemann, immigrated to America about 1870 with his brother August. He was a cigar maker by trade and sold them in Philadelphia and, later, from the store at his home on Baltimore Avenue in Lansdowne. He married Wilhelmina Brandt about 1773 and they had five daughters, Louisa Pittinos, Mary Patterson, Mildred Gibson, Julia Maull and Katherine Koenemann.
