MARY ELIZABETH BRYANT
A long train of relatives and friends of the late Mrs Mary Elizabeth Bryant, wife of Mr A. Bryant, of Sea Lake, followed the body to the Wycheproof Cemetery on Friday last. The deceased, who was well-known in the Wycheproof district, was 57 years of age, and was a daughter of Mrs Webber and the late W.H.[sic - William Ernest] Webber, of St Arnaud, also of Wycheproof. She was engaged in business at Wycheproof many years ago as hotel keeper and grocer with her husband, late Mr Allan. In addition to her bereaved husband, mother and sister, she left three sons, Walter, Tom and Gilbert (A.I.F.), and two daughters Jessie and Hettie, to mourn their loss. The burial service was conducted by the Rev. Crawford, of Sea Lake, and the obsequies by Mr H. Tucker.
