She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Allen Blalock, Sr. She is survived by three sons, Richard A. Blalock, Jr. and wife, Holly, of Timberlake, Kenneth Blalock and wife, Kim, of Rougemont and Christopher Blalock, of Oxford; one daughter, Judith Glisson and husband, Barry, of White Lake; three sisters, Muriel Byrd, of Mebane, Iris Dodson, of Hillsborough, Elma Murdock, of Snow Camp and nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Blalock was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Rome and Annie Harrell Waller. She was a Child Care Provider and a member of Chapel Hill Wesleyan Church.
