Tracy C. Lopeman, 54, retired farmer, died at his home, 410 1/2 West 2nd, Chanute, Kansas, at 4:30 a.m. today following a heart attack. He had been in ill health for several years.

He was born at Urbana, Kansas, March 26, 1893, and moved to Chanute in 1938 upon his retirement.

Survivors are his wife, Viola, of the home, his mother, Mrs. C. A. Doron, Urbana, KS; five sons, Wayne of Ashland, KS; Merle, Linn, MO; Robert of Leanna, KS, and George and Joe of Chanute, KS; a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Wolfe, Chanute, KS; a sister, Mrs. Kate Taylor, Thayer, KS; a half-sister, Mrs. Verda Kaplan, Independence, MO; and half-brother Bruce Doron of Colorado.
