Beauty Ketera Couch was born April 23, 2001, in Austell, Georgia. She attended Cobb County public schools and was currently enrolled at Clayton State University. She was just one semester away from earning her bachelor's degree in Psychology. After graduating college, Beauty was looking forward to starting a career in child psychology. She was currently working at the Youth Life Center of Arts as Director of Dance during the week after class, teaching kids the art of dance. On the weekends, she enjoyed being a waitress at Blazin Restaurant and Lounge.

In her free time, Beauty enjoyed spending time with family, shopping, or skating. She had a passion for skating with her team, DipGirlz. This passion is how the world started to know such a loving, spontaneous, and adventurous young lady we all love. And just like her name, she enjoyed all things of beauty. From painting on a canvas to creating beautiful arts and crafts to sale through her pop-up store, BeautyK Essentials LLC. To know her is to love her because her smile is so infectious.

Beauty leaves her loving memory to cherish with her mother, Deanna Thurman, Kimberley Couch (biological mother), Barry and Sheila Thurman (grandparents), three brothers, two sisters and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, additional family, and friends. As well as her beloved dog, Mocha.

The Thurman family would like to thank you so much for the prayers and support shown during such a difficult time. We're beyond blessed to have family, and friends that are so thoughtful and caring.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 2nd 11:00 AM at Davis-Struempf Chapel with Pastor Frankie Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation before the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
