Son of William Travis Moseley and Ellie Neal Moseley;
Husband of Mabel Bowman Moseley

"Ned Moseley served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army in World War II, and he served for many years as a member the American Legion in Arkansas. He was a tireless worker with the Legion's Boys State Commission and served as Commission Chairman. He also was a counselor to Boys Nation for a number of years. However, he is best remembered in his home state as one of the most recognizable and dedicated staffers at Arkansas Boys State itself, where he served variously as Senior Counselor, Assistant Director, and Director, holding the latter position from 1951 to 1973. In 2000, his name was added to the Boys State Hall of Honor, honoring those "who have contributed greatly to Arkansas Boys State and the Youth of Arkansas." --contributed by W. R. Smith
