Kenny graduated in 1959 from Almena High School. He and Mary Kathryn Jones were married March 20, 1960, in Clayton, Kansas.
Kenny worked for the Kansas Department of Transportation for over thirty years, retiring in 1994 as district superintendent.
Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, playing pool, and riding his motorcycle. Most of all, Kenny loved spending time with his family and friends.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Mary Kathryn, of the home; children, Craig (Charlene Williams) Campbell, Iola, Kansas, Tina (Earl) Barnett, Mapleton, Kansas; grandchildren, Zachary (Megan) Barnett, Lampe, Missouri, Matthew (Sarah) Barnett, Emporia, Kansas, April Anderson, Cherryvale, Kansas; great-grandchildren, Parker Barnett, Carson Barnett, Spenser Quintero-Barnett, all of Emporia, Kansas, Keli Jennings, Independence, Kansas; sister, Donna (Darrell) Mintzmyer, Norton, Kansas; numerous other relatives and friends.
