husband of Myrtle Bloom married in May 1948 and son of Tresssa (Ferguson) and George F Morganthall. He spent his early years in Smithsburg, Ringgold and Mont Alto. Mr. Morganthall attended Leitersburg and Mont Alto schools. Mr. Morganthall worked on the Benjamin Welty Farm, Rinehart Farms and Orchards and most recently as a shipping and receiving clerk for Frick Company, Waynesboro, until he retired after 33 years in March, 1994. He was a member of Blue Mountain Church of God, Smithsburg, where he served as Sunday School Teacher, Superintendent Trustee, Financial Treasurer, Elder and President of the Church Council for many years. He later joined the Germantown Church of God, Cascade, MD, and served as Trustee and member of Church Council. Mr. Morganthall enjoyed woodworking and was the family handyman. In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters: Sharon A. Rock, Waynesboro, Jonie L. Weise, Statesville, NC, Lisa D. Bryant, Waynesboro; three grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren; and a sister, Charlotte Wilders, Greencastle, PA.
