According to info I received from Gwen Taylor (Crouch family line), this info she acquired from info arranged by Lucile Mathews Wheichel in 1937. Roy Crouch was the 6th child of Morris T. (Toles) Crouch and Mollie Strickland. He married first Jenny Drewry of Griffin. She lived only two or three years after their marriage. They were married Oct. 20, 1905. There were no children. Roy married 2nd to Sara Epps on Jan. 20, 1907. They owned and occupied the farm originally owned by Roy's Grandfather and Father. Roy was always active in church affairs and was a deacon in the Gay Baptist Church. It is said that he was a man about whom there has never been any adverse criticism. (The above statement can be verified by any man in the vicinity of Gay, Ga.) Roy and Sara moved to Athens, then to Oak Ridge. From there to Bogart, Ga. and then to Griffin.
They had the following children:
Robert Otis, Harold (buried in Crouch cemetery), Roy Epps,Will Henry, Doris Crouch Barlow, George Edgar, Bessie Crouch Estes
