William J. Neill, 88, of Marysville Rt. 2, died Wednesday October 18, 1972 at Memorial Hospital. He attended Jerome United Methodist Church.

Born Nov. 11,1883, he was the son of Samuel L. and Mary (Dewitt) Neill. He was married to Ollie Tossey on Oct. 8, 1903. She survives.

Other survivors are five sons, Clarence of Bell Point, Merle of Marysville Rt. 2, Bob of Jerome, Floyd of Plain City Rt. 1, Richard of Marysville Rt. 2; five daughters, Mrs. Violet Fawcett of Warrensburg, Mrs. Mary Myers, Mrs. Lucille Clark and Mrs. Betty Veley, all of Marysville Rt. 2, Mrs. Ruth Ackerman of Columbus; 25 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lorena Farson of Akron.

Funeral services are at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Ferguson Funeral Home, Plain City with "the. Rev. Richard Smyers officiating. Burial will be in the Jerome Township Cemetery.
