Audra Arnold Browman died in Missoula on June 12, 2002. Born May 16, 1909, in West Brookfield, Mass., Mrs. Browman came to Missoula with her husband, Ludvig Browman, in 1937. She was active in researching and consulting on the history of Missoula County and participated in community organizations, including the League of Women Voters. Memorials are suggested to either the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula, marked for the Ludvig G. Browman Fellowship in Museum Studies or to the University of Montana Foundation, marked for the Browman Library Endowment or the Browman Division of Biological Sciences Endowment.
