She was a former resident of Seminole. She married Charles W. Davis on May 25, 1938 in Seminole. He preceded her in death in 1998. She worked as a postal clerk for the Towanda Post Office and was a checker at Safeway Grocery in Augusta, Kansas and Seminole.
Mrs. Davis was an avid motorcycle enthusiast for many years and was a lifetime member of the Motor Maids, Inc.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, C.C. Crosby and Joe Crosby.
Survivors include sons, Charles Oren Davis of Cache and Robert Davis of Augusta, Kansas, sister, Ann Vanlandingham of Seminole, brother, Gene Crosby of Boise, Idaho, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Norman Mosier of Towanda, Kansas officiating. Burial will be at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.
