Jeanie Abranovich, 48, died at 222 East Branch Road, New Wilmington, PA.

Parents: Nicholas and Tressa Abranovich.

She was a self-employed horse trainer in the New Wilmington area. She also worked as a commercial artist for several businesses in Ohio and Pennsylvania for many years. She attended New Wilmington High School and received a degree in commercial art from what is now the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center. She also went to Youngstown State University for four years, studying commercial art.She enjoyed showing, training and racing horses in the New Wilmington area. She was Catholic.

Relatives: her fiance, Dr. David M. Swaney of New Wilmington; a daughter, Ivy R. Caliguire of Youngstown; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Eric and Beverly Abranovich of New Bedford, and William Abranovich and Chris Abranovich, both of Pulaski; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary Beth and David Kaufman of Philadelphia, Judith and George Hildrew of Haddon Heights, N.J., Therese Abranovich of New Wilmington and Amy Abranovich of Niles, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Marina Caliguire and Gino Caliguire, both of Youngstown. She was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas Abranovich.
