Asheville - Eva Mildred Freeman, 85, of Fairview passed away Saturday, July 24, 2004 at Mountain Area Hospice Center in Asheville.

A native of Buncombe County, she was the wife of twenty four years to Dwight M. Freeman and was the daughter of William A. Wright and Eva Henderson Wright.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by sisters; Katherine Alexander, and Martha Dycus; brothers; Laman Wright and Roland Wright.

A career military wife spending twenty three years with her husband in the military including three years in Japan.

She was a wonderful person, a loving wife and sister. Upon settling in the Fairview Community she become a "Community Mom" to all the kid in the community, a very loving and caring person, a person with a big heart she gave to others to help them.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mountain Area Hospice Center for the care extended to her during her stay, and thank all who kept them and her in their prayers and for their support.

Burial will follow at Cane Creek Cemetery.
