Auther Louis "Butch" Caton, 74, of Blanchard, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, in Blanchard. The son of Henry Emery Louis Caton and Dorothy Bea (Judd) Caton, he was born on February 13, 1949, in Purcell, Oklahoma.

Butch was a proud veteran who served in the United States Army during Vietnam.

He married the love of his life, Leah Ann Baxter, on January 5, 1973, in Norman, Oklahoma. They were married for 50 beautiful years.

Butch was a family man who adored spending time with his kids and grandkids. His family would describe him as being ornery and someone who loved to joke around. Butch would say he was always the best-looking man in the room. In his spare time, he loved to go fishing and bowling. He will be deeply missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Emery Louis Caton and Dorothy Bea (Judd) Caton; one brother, Paul Caton; and one sister, Lily Addington.

Butch is survived by his wife, Leah Ann (Baxter) Caton of Blanchard; four sons, Donald Caton and his wife, Lisa, of Blanchard, David Caton and his significant other, Sonia, of Duncan, John Caton of Blanchard, and Aaron Caton of Moore; one daughter, Crystle Dillon and her husband, Arron, of Blanchard; brother, Claude Wilson and his wife, Lisa, of Mustang; eleven grandchildren, Alexandra, Alyssa, Ashley, Brittany, Hunter, Brooke, David, Jr., Johnathen, Anthony, Nathan, and Greyson; one great-grandchild on the way; several nieces and nephews; and many more loving family members and friends.
