Anita Lesteen (Dilts) Gray, 83-year-old Welch resident, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at her home west of Welch. She was born on May 25, 1940, in Great Bend, Kansas to Lester A. and Emma Louise (Hill) Dilts. Lesteen graduated from West High School in Wichita, Kansas in 1958. She became a beautician and had run a beauty shop business in both Kansas and Oklahoma. She was married to Tommy Gray on May 16, 1959, in Wichita, Kansas. They lived around Keystone Lake until 1995, when they moved to their farm west of Welch. Lesteen enjoyed art, farm life, and her cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Lester M. "Sonny" Dilts in 2020.

The family includes her husband Tommy of the home, three children, Tommy Gray of Welch, Zac Gray of Prue, Greta Treece of Cleveland, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
