The three Ellis brothers that were killed by lightning, viz; Jesse, who was born in 1808, Louis in 1810, and Bartin in 1812, in 1831, will have a suitable monument at their graves. Relatives of these boys appointed a committee, made up a purse and purchased a nice monument. They erected it at their graves in the Ellis cemetery.
