David Warren Pyle, 81, of Edwardsville, formerly of Du Quoin, passed away at 12:49 P.M., Friday, August 18, 2023 at the Edwardsville Nursing and Rehab in Edwardsville, IL.
David had worked at the workshop of Five Star Industries in Du Quoin.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Du Quoin. He really cared for children.
He was born April 6, 1942 in Du Quoin, IL, the son of Ewald and Louise (Smith) Pyle.
He is survived by two brothers - Ron Pyle, Sr. of Du Quoin and Douglas Pyle and wife Sharon of Harrisburg, IL, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister-in-law - Sonja Pyle.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin.
Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin.
