Angela Kay Compton Padua, 52, of Tappahannock, VA, passed away with her family by her side on August 16, 2023. She is preceded in death by her mother, Pat Compton. She is survived by her beloved husband of 15 years, Tony Padua; children, Jenna Compton-Padua, Samantha Vick, Nicholas Padua, Victoria Padua, and Chris Griffin; her precious new granddaughter, Raelynn Vick; father, Ray Compton; sisters, Carla Nunnally (Chris) and Theresa Groome (James); brother (from another mother), Stephen Chenault; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss her greatly. Angela was a vivacious, outgoing woman who loved to be around people, and enjoyed her job and friendships with her staff working for the US Postal Service. Above all, she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend who cherished family above all. The family will receive friends on August 24, 2023 at 4pm-8pm at Bliley's, 8510 Staples Mill Road, in Richmond. A celebration of her life will follow August 25, 2023 at 11am. Interment is at Hanover Memorial Park Cemetery at 12:30pm.
