Donald Crayton Milford, 89, of Anderson, SC, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Anderson Area Medical Center.
Born in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Sammie W. Milford and Willie Mae Parker Milford. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Gilliam Milford; a brother, Charles E. Milford and a sister, Gaynelle E. Milford.
He worked in textiles as a loom fixer and was a US Army veteran. Donald was known as a jack of all trades who had the talent for making something out of nothing. He loved going to the jockey lot, thrift stores, watching wrestling, but most of all the many trips to Daytona Beach, FL.
He is survived by a son, Bruce C. Milford (Patti); grandchildren, Alexander C. Milford (Melani), April E. Milford Ward ( Kevin), and Katie Cole Cauley (Steven); great-grandchildren, Aviana Ward, Jarrett Cauley, Corbin Barrett and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Campbell Patriots providing military honors.
