Janice Eileen Helton Diehl
October 2, 1946 – August 16, 2023

Archer Lodge – Janice " Jan" Eileen Helton Diehl, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday. She was born in Sherman County, KS, to the late Howard Wayne & Ellen Blake Helton.

She will forever be remembered as a wonderful mother, mema, mimi, grandma and homemaker to her children, grandchildren as well as her siblings whom she helped raise. Jan enjoyed sewing in her free time, she loved serving others even if it meant she went without. She was devoted to making a change and change the lives of those she loved and to those that loved her.

In addition to her parents, Jan is preceded in death by her husband Roland "Ron" Diehl, and daughter, Jackie French of Idaho Falls, ID, sister, Judy Diehl.

She is survived by her children, Monty Diehl (Caroline) of Archer Lodge, Sue Ellen Lutz of Edmond, OK, Katrina Strumhaus of Kansas City, MO, sisters, Joyce Armstrong, Jennifer Brucker (James) and Linda Todd, brothers, James Helton (Barbara), John Helton (Ann), and Joe Helton (Tammy). 10 Grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Flowers welcomed or memorials may be made to Baptist Tabernacle Church.

The funeral service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Baptist Tabernacle Church, 1599 NC Hwy 231, Wendell. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 2–3 pm in the family ministry center. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
