PATRICIA ANN RUGGERI
August 28, 1946 ~ July 15, 2023

"Patty"
Patty, Patty, you're as sweet as can be, your face so fair, your pretty eyes and brown hair are like paradise and there is no one as sweet or sublimely complete as Patty. Patty, you can't be best, and I enjoy your company.

June 1985

Born in Marin County, California August 28, 1946. Pat lived in California, Queen's Village, New York, Oklahoma, Texas and Colorado. The majority of her childhood was spent in Oklahoma, and she had many happy memories of her childhood there. She graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1964, and attended Southeastern State University in Durant, Oklahoma before moving to Dallas, Texas.

Pat was a beautiful person, both inside and out, and people naturally gravitated to her beautiful smile and shining, happy eyes. She enjoyed being with people so working in the service industry was a natural fit for her. First bartending, then as food server. Her interests turned to natural foods and learning about herbs and spices. How they contributed to nutritional foods and natural healing methods, leading to a career with a regional chain of natural food store.

She loved being in the sun and spending lazy afternoons at the beaches in the Galveston/Houston area. She loved every stray dog and cat in the neighborhood.

She later moved to Denver, Colorado to be closer to family. While there was lots of sun to enjoy, she wasn't always fond of the winters. But being of strong spirit, she adapted.

Pat passed on July 15, 2023, and will be missed by her siblings: Barbara Harkey, Mary Pace Carr, John Pace. Nephew: Kyle Harkey.

Her remains will be laid to rest in the Holly Creek Cemetery.
