Frank Hitchens Beach of 4 Buccleuch Road, West Dulwich, died aged less than one year and was buried on 11 August 1882.

Frank was born overseas, when his father was on business in Hamburg. He was the firstborn of Thomas John Beach (1857-1948) and Annie Jasmine Hitchens (1862-). His Beach family, brassfounders and merchants, originate from Birmingham, and farmers in Tanworth; father Thomas moved to London sometime after his parents died when he was quite young.

Who knows what Frank would have become. All of his 5 siblings entered the theatrical field in their youth - his sisters in variety and dancing and his two brothers became involved in the fledgling cinema business. One of those brothers was Alec Beach (1894-1917) who died in WW1 age 22 years.
