Robert Francis McKee
July 27, 1948 ~ August 13, 2023 (age 75)
Robert Francis McKee, 75, of Richmond, on the mighty fine day of August 13, 2023 our beloved Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Adopted Father and Adopted Grandfather and friend to many, went beyond the "Veil" to be with his Heavenly Father, family and friends.

Robert was born on July 27, 1948 in New Castle, Indiana. He was raised on a farm near Cambridge City, on Goose Heaven Rd. by his parents Robert Walter and Helen Frances (Hutchins) McKee. Robert was a 1967 graduate of Lincoln High School. He worked many years as a Civil Draftsman with the Wayne County Surveyor's Office in Richmond. He worked as a chef at the Western S in Vail, Colorado and at Shore Lodge in McCall, Idaho.

Robert lived a fairly adventurous life. He loved to travel throughout North America and Europe. Robert made friends easily and knew many people worldwide. He loved to cook and bake, giving it all away to his many friends and neighbors. He particularly loved to make extravagant Gingerbread Houses and trains, spending hours decorating them. Robert also loved to write and email his friends, and was always busy sending letters and birthday cards to his many Missionaries worldwide. He was always helping someone in need.

Robert is survived by his sister, Carol Ann (Mike) Smith; his brother, Tom Joseph (Jama) McKee; a niece, Amy Smith; and four nephews, David Smith, Stephen Smith, Trent McKee and Tyler McKee.

A private service will be held for Robert and interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City. His arrangements have been entrusted to Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel.
