Juanita Vernois Sanders, 101, passed away on August 15, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was born January 24, 1922 Ralph and Ora (McCallum) Reeves in Vici, OK. She married Roy Sanders and spent her career working in the medical industry in the area of home health care. She was a member of Calvary Church of the Nazarene.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy; son, Bobby McCown; daughter, Jan Harless; and daughter-in-law, Kathleen McCown, and sisters, Olive Keyser, Iva Sheets, Erma Reeves and Lois Brown.

She is survived by her sisters, Martha Jo Watkins, Mary Lou Stewart, Ruth Mason and husband Bob, and Elvie Thayer.

Viewing at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service is Thursday, August 17 from 3-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, August 18 at Mercer-Adams Chapel.
