The funeral for William Larry Clark, 64, of 2238 Morgan Ford Road, Ridgeway, who died March 30, 2008, at Hospice Home of Rockingham County, Wentworth, N.C., will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Norris Funeral Services. Elder Paul Clark and Pastor Arlene Campbell will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Norris Funeral Services and other times at the home.

He was born on May 3, 1943, to Elvie Gray Clark and Bessie Gauldin Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Sue Bryant; and a sister, Nadine Woodson.

Clark had served in the Navy and worked as a supervisor for Duke Power for 38 years. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey and Wheelin Sportsman Association, and was a member of and deacon at Pleasant Grove Primitive Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Brenda Clark of the home; two sons, Tracy Clark of Axton and Brad Clark of Craigsville, W.Va.; a brother, Lonnie Clark of Eden, N.C.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
