As a Military Brat Lynn lived in Hawaii, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Kentucky, Kansas, and two tours in Germany. She attended Wichita State University for a brief time and then adventure took over. Lynn lived at home with her family in Florida and then moved to Colorado. She spent time in Oregon and California before making Carson City, Nevada her home. Lynn continued to return to Florida to visit whenever possible.
Lynn had a talent for gardening and spent countless hours in her backyard nurturing plants. She was involved in a church for a period of time, but most of the time she just enjoyed staying at home. We used to say Lynnie would give you the shirt off her back, based on how helpful she was to her family and others. Lynn loved making puzzles and playing Sudoku. At family gatherings she would always have a puzzle out that we could all put together. She especially enjoyed spending time with June and her family. Lynnie has left a void in our lives. We all miss her, especially every Sunday on family zoom. We love you, Lynnie, rest in peace.
Lynn was predeceased by her parents, and brother-in-laws John Sturch and George Burns. She is survived by her four sisters: Gail (Kevin) Reid, Lois Sturch, Lael Burns, and June (Mike) Morton and by her brother Paul (Diana) Jackson. Also survived by nieces and nephews: Kate Reid, Erin and John (Stephanie) Sturch, Truman and Sterling Jackson, Jordan and Noah Burns; Michael (Mariah Cooper), Mariah, and Madison Morton; grandnephew Westyn Morton. Lynn is also survived by her companion of twenty years Richard "Duffy" Issel.
