Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Madden of the home; a son, Donald Madden of Princeton, Neb.; three brothers, Nolan Madden of Wathena, Kan., John Madden of Blackwater, Mo., and William Madden of Topeka, Kan.; and three grandchildren." St Joseph News-Press, August 11, 1973
