Gilbert Hollis of Fallentimber RD was found dead in his home Tuesday evening. He was born at Fallentimber on Jan. 26, 1879, a son of Mr. and Mrs. David Hollis and was twice married, to Bessie Beers and Dora McQuinn, both of whom preceded him in death. Surviving are seven children, Harold of Fallentimber, Mrs. Helen Livings of Fairfax, Va., Mrs. Thelma Jensen, Mrs. Wilda Kuzio and Lorraine, all of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Irene Kimble of Alexandria, Va., and Mrs. Florence Branson of Falls Church, Va., and 17 grandchildren. He was a retired farmer. Friends will be received in the Jon C. Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, after 7 p.m. today.

GILBERT HOLLIS Gilbert Hollis, Fallen Timber RD, died at his home Tuesday. He was born in Fallen Timber on Jan. 25, 1879, a son of David and Ellzabeth Kessler Hollis. He was twice married, first to Bessie Beers, and later to Dora McQuinn. Both are deceased. A son Howard and a daughter Wilma are also deceased. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Harold D., of Fallen Timber; Mrs. Helen Livings and Mrs. Irene Kimble, of Fairfax, Va.; Mrs. Thelma Jensen and Mrs. Wilda Kuzio; of Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Lorraine McCrary, Beltsville, Md.; Mrs. Florence Branson, of Falls Church, Va.; 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was the last of the immediate family. He was a retired farmer. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Russin Funeral Home, Bellwood, in charge of the servive, Rev. Maurice Martindale. Burial will be in Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow. Friends are being received at the funeral home.
