Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday from the Maddox Funeral Chapel, with burial in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 6, 1915 in Lucedale, Miss., a son of Mrs. Lillie Rouse Cochran and the late Julian James Cochran. He had lived in LaGrange for the past 34 years and had been employed by Singer Sewing Machine Company and United Family Life Insurance Company.
Survivors, other than his mother, include his wife, Mrs. Lera May Cochran; one daughter, Mrs. Linda Womble; two sons, Wesley Cochran, all of LaGrange, and Larry G. Cochran, Panama Canal Zone; four sisters, Mrs. B. L. Smith, Mrs. Evon Green, both of Mobile, Ala., Mrs. Horace McInnis and Mrs. Harmon Mizell, both of Lucedale; three brothers, James Cochran, Biloxi, Miss., A. A. Cochran and Otis Cochran, both of Lucedale and one grandchild.
